Before embarking on the journey to become a therapist, John ventured into various clinical settings, embracing a multitude of roles. Each experience revealed the longing to engage with clients in ways that my then role did not permit.

Therapeutic Style & Approach

This desire to help others navigate their mental health became John's stepping stone towards becoming a therapist.

John's therapy approach is a synthesis of psychodynamic and experiential strategies, skillfully adapted from a variety of therapeutically beneficial modalities. 

John believes in the inherent resilience of human beings. You possess more strength for overcoming our challenges than we realize.

John works from experiential dynamic therapeutic perspectives and with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and clinical issues. He possesses a special affinity for serving the LGBTQ+ community.

Training & Background

In 2022, John earned a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City College of New York and transitioned into supervised practice within a private setting.
